WHERE IS YOUR BASE?

Your base in Gopeng is in Adeline’s Resthouse. It was awarded Perak Tourism Appreciation Awards 2007 under “Most Exclusive Accommodations” Category. Your adventure actually begins the moment you left Gopeng town going toward Rumah Rehat Adeline. You will pass several villages on the way up, namely Kpg. Jelintoh, Kpg. Sg. Itek and Kpg. Pintu Padang. The village houses are close by the roadside, so please drive slowly and carefully. Once you passed Kpg. Pintu Padang the road is even narrower, going up-hill with many blind corners.

For those driving in for the first time, this stretch can be challenging and sometime scary. Put your fear aside, drive slowly and occasionally use your horn as you approach blind corners – to give warning to vehicles that may come from the opposite direction. For those who opt for transfer from Gopeng town, your transfer vehicle/s – either a lorry or a pick-up truck. Standing/sitting at the back of a lorry or a pick-up truck is a first time experience for most visitors.
